 Strange Bear in Elwynn
So my warlock is wandering around Elwynn Forest killing some wolves and some bears; I turn a corner see a strange bear I've never seen before, the devilish Imp by my side says "we can take him!", I, being a woefully underpowered warlock decide it might not be the best idea.

Anyway any idea who this little fella is?

Btw my realm is Aerie Peak EU.

By the looks of that, it appears that you were seeing a Hunter's pet, but it had not yet registered as another player's pet on your client side. I've seen that happen with both Hunter and Warlock pets where they appear hostile at first, and then turn friendly once their master comes into view on my screen.

Can't be, because then 1) the pet wouldn't have appeared as hostile and 2) you'd see <hunter name>'s pet in the tooltip.

Strange, though - for a moment I thought that Deathclaw had somehow managed to escape off Bloodmyst Isle. ;)

BlackLeaf nailed it. Happens to me all the time, indeed. At lv 10 he would show as ?? if he really was a hostile lv 56. Also look at the name^^ All Blizzard created NPCs have a Capital letter to start with. Proper spelling ftw aswell..what is a "hamer"? The "Hammer" of a 12 year old dyslexic?

Depends on the person behind the keyboard Aerath. I've seen Dutchies with a good grasp of the English language and I've seen those with little to no skill at all. I've seen Germans with a proper understanding and I've seen those who "sound" as if they just came straight out of some Tiroler soft-core movie.

Same goes for Italians, Frenchies, folks from Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, etc etc.. *shrugs*
